Launch of Historical Origins of International Criminal Law Volumes 3 and 4 and New Services in the ICL Public Commons

On the occasion of the 14th session of the ICC Assembly of States Parties, the CMN-ICJ Toolkits Project will participate in a two-part side event,  co-hosted by Finland, France, Germany, Norway, the European Commission, and the Centre for International Law Research and Policy (CILRAP) .

This is a side event to launch two comprehensive books – Volumes 3 and 4 of Historical Origins of International Criminal Law and to take stock of new developments in the ICL Public Commons that can raise both capacity and efficiency in criminal justice for core international crimes. There will be complimentary copies of the new books and lunch for persons in attendance.

As part of the second component of the event “New Services in the ICL Public Commons – Infrastructure for Sustainable Capacity Development“, Dr. Emilie Hunter (CMN Deputy Director) will present the ICJ-Toolkits Project developments over the past year.
